“Passion for Marina” (“Strasti po Marine”) is a biographical documentary of Tsvetaeva Marina’s life. The film is an artistic re-creation of one Human’s life and one Poet’s fate, it is a kaleidoscope of old photographs, poems, letters and newsreels of past years.

Marina Tsvetaeva is known not only as the great poetess and writer, but also as the woman of bright and complicated fate. Undoubtedly, “The Passion of Marina” deserves attention even of those who are not expecting to hear anything new about Tsvetaeva. The film is a poem, a parable, a picture and a tragedy simultaneously. It is not just a life story, but a genuine spiritual enlightenment.

As usual, there will be a discussion with participation of our guests and experts after the film. The agenda is the coming out of famous LGBT persons both in Russia and abroad.

On February, 7 the discussion will be continued at the ComingOutInfo (InfoVyhod).
