Traditionally LGBT community of St. Petersburg holds a “Week Against Homophobia”. This year it will take place from April 5 till 11. This year the Week’s slogan is “We are for Russia for all! We are for Russia without homophobia!”

“Homophobia separates people and causes the senseless aggression, just as racism and religious intolerance do. One may like it or not, but people with different sexual orientations and different views of masculinity and femininity live in Russia, and these differences should not be a trigger for discrimination and, all the more, violence. We stand for Russia for everyone, for Russia without homophobia” - declared the chairman of the MSM “Russian LGBT Network” Igor Kochetkov.

April 3, Saturday, 11:00 PM - The official opening of the Anti-Homophobia Week and the DragKing Studio performance will take place in the “Mowgli” club, Bronnitskaya str., 24.
